BoxLunch Celebrates 10 Years Of Blending Fandom Fashion With Purpose

BoxLunch is celebrating a major milestone — and giving back in a big way. The fan-favorite retailer, known for its curated lineup of pop culture apparel, collectibles, and accessories, has officially donated a landmark 265 million meals through it’s ongoing partnership with Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization.

For the past decade, BoxLunch has seamlessly blended fandom with philanthropy, turning every in-store and online purchase into tangible support for communities nationwide. To mark both its 10th anniversary and this impressive donation achievement, the brand is rolling out a celebratory collection and a series of activations that directly benefit local food banks.

“This milestone underscores our long-standing commitment to giving back and assisting local communities in their work to end hunger,” said Steve Vranes, CEO of BoxLunch. “We hope to continue to raise awareness about the important mission of Feeding America, and about the incredible work taking place at local food banks across the country.”

As part of Hunger Action Month this past September, BoxLunch hosted employee volunteer events at select food banks across Los Angeles, Houston, and Orlando — spotlighting the power of on-the-ground support and encouraging fans to get involved in their own communities. “BoxLunch’s national volunteer efforts are a strong example of corporate engagement that truly makes a difference,” added Lauren Biedron, SVP of corporate and foundation partnerships at Feeding America.

To keep the celebrations going, BoxLunch just dropped a limited-edition 10th Anniversary Soot the Dragon collectible figure ($40) in October. Designed in collaboration with Kaleidos Creative, each figure sold helps donate five meals to people facing hunger.

Throughout October, BoxLunch will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a series of exciting activations. Fans in New York this October should be sure to check out a special BoxLunch 10th anniversary pop-up activation, where guests can customize items and shop exclusive new merchandise.
