Star Trek Just Dropped the Ultimate Collector Reveals at San Diego Comic-Con

The final frontier got a whole lot more collectible.
As part of its year-long 60th anniversary celebration, Star Trek beamed into San Diego Comic-Con with an exciting slate of announcements during Paramount's Star Trek: The Collector Frontier panel. Hosted by Tiffany Smith, the presentation brought together creative minds from Paramount, the LEGO Group, and Wizards of the Coast to give fans an exclusive look at the next wave of must-have collectibles inspired by one of pop culture's most beloved franchises.
Whether you're a lifelong Trekkie, a LEGO builder, or a Magic: The Gathering collector, there was plenty to get excited about.
LEGO Boldly Goes Where No Brick Has Gone Before

One of the biggest reveals was the all-new LEGO® Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise™ NCC-1701 Bridge set ($200).
Designed with longtime fans in mind, the impressive 1,701-piece build recreates the iconic bridge from the Original Series with lots of little details Trekkies will appreciate. Builders will also discover a fully realized transporter room, interactive features, hidden Easter eggs, and an all-new crew of LEGO Minifigures representing the legendary Enterprise crew.

Even the smallest details received special attention, with designers creating brand-new LEGO elements exclusively for the set—including a brand-new phaser accessory and an all-new Spock hairstyle piece.
Fans attending the panel were also treated to the premiere of "A Taste of Turbulence," a playful promotional short that lovingly recreates one of Star Trek's most iconic recurring moments: the dramatic bridge shake whenever the Enterprise encounters trouble. Magic: The Gathering Makes Star Trek History

Wizards of the Coast also had a few surprises ready to transport fans.
The upcoming Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek collaboration spans six decades of Star Trek storytelling, bringing iconic characters and moments into Magic's collectible card universe for the first time.
Perhaps the biggest announcement was the debut of Magic's first-ever Signature Cards—premium collectibles featuring authentic signatures from legendary Star Trek actors.

Among the first revealed were Captain Kirk, signed by William Shatner, and Captain Janeway, signed by Kate Mulgrew. Panel attendees also got the surprise reveal that Captain Jean-Luc Picard will join the collection as one of seven Signature Cards.
With only 200 copies produced of both the Captain Kirk and Captain Janeway Signature Cards, they're already shaping up to be some of the rarest collectibles ever released for Magic: The Gathering.
