Obsessed With Gothic Romance? This Wuthering Heights Airbnb Is Your Ultimate Getaway

Romance is getting a decidedly gothic upgrade this season. With Wuthering Heights — director Emerald Fennell’s bold new take on “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë — in theaters world-wide, fans are trading in predictable date nights for windswept romance, emotional chaos, and dramatic declarations on the moors.
While some couples are booking cocktail bars or immersive exhibits, others are lining up to watch Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi step into the stormy shoes of literature’s most obsessive lovers, Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. And now, thanks to an unexpectedly dreamy collaboration, fans can go far beyond watching the story — they can actually sleep inside it.

A Stay Straight Out of the Story
In celebration of the film’s release, Airbnb has unveiled one of its most immersive experiences yet: a real-world recreation of Cathy’s bedroom at Thrushcross Grange, nestled in the heart of West Yorkshire — aka Brontë Country itself.

Inspired directly by Fennell’s cinematic vision, the space leans fully into the film’s romantic surrealism. Guests will step into Cathy’s now-iconic bright pink bedroom, complete with fleshy-textured walls and a striking hair-woven table design that feels equal parts haunting and haute couture. It’s dramatic, atmospheric, and unmistakably Fennell.
Even better? The overnight stay is completely free.
A Cinematic Itinerary (Yes, Really)
This isn’t just a themed room — it’s a fully curated experience designed to blur the line between film and reality. According to the Airbnb announcement, guests will follow an itinerary inspired by the film’s romantic and gothic world, including:
Horseback Ride Across the Moorlands — explore the sweeping landscapes that shaped Brontë’s legendary tale.
Traditional Yorkshire Afternoon Tea — because longing and pastries pair beautifully together.
An Evening at Thrushcross Grange — a candlelit dinner echoing the elegance seen onscreen.
Private Listening Experience featuring music written for the film by Charli xcx.
Overnight Stay in Cathy’s Bedroom — the centerpiece of the entire experience.
“Eggs and Soldiers” Breakfast — a playful culinary Easter egg inspired by the film itself.
Visit to the Brontë Parsonage — the historic home of the Brontë sisters and a must-see pilgrimage for literary fans.

Dana Nussbaum, Co-Head of Global Motion Pictures Marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures, says:
“The ‘Wuthering Heights’ that Emerald Fennell has brought to the screen was born of her vivid imaginings of not just Cathy and Heathcliff’s passionate romance, but of the wild world of the moors that surrounded them in Emily Brontë’s Yorkshire. We are so excited to not only be able to share that singular experience with audiences when the film comes to theaters 13th February for Valentine’s Day, but also to give travel buffs who are true romantics the chance to live it for themselves thanks to our partners at Airbnb.”
How to Book (and Cross Your Fingers)
Bookings for the experience open Friday, February 20 at 12 PM GMT via Airbnb. Three couples will be selected for complimentary one-night stays between February 27 and March 4, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. (Travel to and from the location, however, is not covered — consider it your own romantic quest.)
The Ultimate Gothic Date Night
For fans already obsessing over images from the film, this stay feels like the ultimate extension of the cinematic world: part literary homage, part immersive theater, and entirely unforgettable. Whether you’re a longtime Brontë devotee or simply love a romance with a little emotional chaos, this might be the most dramatic getaway ever conceived.
Good luck — and may the moors choose you.
