M&M’s and Marvel Assemble for a Super-powered Fandom Collaboration

As the Avengers prepare to assemble again on the big screen in Avengers: Doomsday later this year, Marvel fans will able to celebrate with a sweet team-up. M&M’s is teaming up with Marvel and Disney for a major global branding campaign that blends cinematic storytelling with candy-coated fun — and fandoms everywhere are invited to suit up.

The It’s More Fun Together campaign taps into what both brands do best: characters, connection, and worlds fans want to live inside. Marvel delivers iconic heroes and emotional storytelling. M&M’s brings colorful personalities that have become characters in their own right. Together, they’re creating an immersive experience designed to spark joy across generations — from the movie theater to the candy aisle.

Rankin Carroll, Chief Brand Officer at Mars Snacking, summed up the vision behind the crossover: “M&M’S and Marvel fans share a passion for characters and storytelling. This phase of our collaboration combines the best of both brands to deliver immersive experiences, content and new ways for fans to engage. By leading with what our consumers love, we’re inspiring fun, fandom and connection in a way only our two brands can.”

Starting in late January, the global campaign will roll out across M&M’s platforms and markets throughout the year. Fans can expect digital content, interactive experiences, exclusive prizes, new merchandise, and — perhaps most exciting of all — seven limited-edition collectible packs featuring never-before-seen M&M’s and Marvel character mashups. Think iconic heroes and villains reimagined in candy-coated form, blending flavor, fun, and fandom into must-have collectibles. The seven character mash-up packs feature a distinctive lineup of M&M’s personalities transformed into Marvel favorites:

  • Yellow as Wolverine

  • Red as Deadpool

  • Blue as Daredevil

  • Purple as Elektra

  • Green as She-Hulk

  • Brown as Yelena

  • Orange as Red Guardian

For pop culture lovers, collectors, and Marvel devotees, this campaign hits the sweet spot between playful branding and true fan service. It celebrates character-driven storytelling, limited-edition merch culture, and the shared language of fandom — all wrapped in bright, glossy, highly Instagrammable packaging.
