Disney’s Cinderella Just Got a Paris Fashion Week Makeover

If you thought Cinderella’s glass slippers were already iconic, just wait until you see her latest upgrade. Mattel Creations, Disney, and avant-garde fashion powerhouse Viktor&Rolf have officially teamed up to create the Viktor&Rolf x Disney Collector “Cinderella” Doll — and she’s less pumpkin carriage, more Paris Fashion Week front row.
Unveiled as a limited-edition collectible debuting January 21 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs during Paris Fashion Week, this couture Cinderella isn’t just a doll — she’s a full-blown fashion moment. Think sculptural runway gown, crystal-clear heels, and the ultimate modern accessory: a smartphone frozen at 11:59 p.m. Because even fairytales have screen time limits.

The design is inspired by Viktor&Rolf’s Spring/Summer 2019 Haute Couture “Fashion Statements” collection — the same theatrical, art-meets-fashion aesthetic that made their runway shows viral sensations. Translated into miniature form, Cinderella becomes a modern muse: elegant, dramatic, and completely aware of her own main-character energy.
Robert Best, vice president of doll product design, calls the collaboration a bold celebration of reinvention, blending Disney’s timeless storytelling, Viktor&Rolf’s avant-garde vision, and Mattel’s design legacy into something that feels far bigger than a toy. Translation: this one’s for fashion lovers, Disney adults, and serious collectors alike.

And because no fashion fairytale is complete without behind-the-scenes drama, a 30-minute documentary special — Disney Princess: Create Your World – Mattel and Viktor&Rolf — will debut March 24, 2026 on Hulu and ABC-owned digital platforms. Expect sketches, fittings, creative debates, and a peek at how couture magic is made.
The Viktor&Rolf x Disney Collector “Cinderella” Doll ($125) will be available for pre-sale starting January 20 on MattelCreations.com and Viktor-rolf.com, with availability rolling out in early spring. Given the hype? Don’t expect her to stick around until midnight.
