For those of you who know me there are three things you probably already know about me. And if you don’t know me here’s everything you need to know:

  1. I’m a HUGE Star Wars fan.

  2. I appreciate a good movie montage.

  3. I love it when nerds with too much time on their hands edit together quality movie montages — especially ones featuring Star Wars.

Check out this supercut called “A Ride Through the Galaxy” from YouTube channel, Redfoam. It takes footage from the Skywalker saga films, the recent standalone films (Solo and Rogue One), as well as the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. The end result is pretty spectacular. I loved seeing all of the parallels throughout the video, not just in the iconic action scenes and lightsaber battles, but in the cinematography throughout franchise over the years. Take a look!

Redfoam says:

I was inspired by the great editor Gugga Leunnam and his Ride Through the MCU Action videos. I found the idea of layering transition after transition to be very compelling and thought that #StarWars would be the perfect for this kind of edit.

I couldn’t agree with you more, Redfoam. Star Wars is perfect for this kind of edit. What did you think of this supercut? Let me know in the comments below.
