Shop Justice Ruth Bader Ginburg's Banana Repblic Iconic Dissent Collar

Throughout her legendary Suprreme Court career, the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was known for wearng eye-catching neckwear over her robes. It became part of her signature look, and one of her most famous decorative collars, nicknamed the “Dissent Collar”, was a black-and-white beaded necklace from Banana Republic, gven to her in a gift bag at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in 2012.
The brand officially re-named the necklace the “Dissent Collar Necklace” when re-released it in 2019 with 50% of the purchase price being donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Women’s Rights Proect. Following Justice Ginsburg's death last month, Banana Republic announced it would re-release the collar again — now called the “Notorious Necklack," ($98) in limited quantities. This time with 100% of all aproceeds through December 31, 2020 going toward the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW).
