Are you a Star Wars fan? I mean, really a Star Wars fan? Because if you are, and you’ve got 27 hours to kill AMC is hosting a Star Wars marathon that is not for the faint of heart.

To mark the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on December 20, AMC theaters will be hosting an 11-movie marathon that begins on December 18th and ends 27 hours and 21 minutes later, just in time for a midnight screening of the new film.

The marathon includes the Prequel Trilogy, the Original Trilogy, the Sequel Trilogy, Rogue One, and Solo. No word yet on whether AMC plans to screen the films in chronological order or by each film’s theatrical release, but if you manage to survive the marathon you will also “receive a commemorative pin and blanket, and a concession offer.”

I remember taking my little brothers’ to a marathon of the Original Trilogy to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: A New Hope (because I’m old like that). As much as I love Star Wars, sitting through 3 back-to-back with my brothers who were little at the time felt like a lot. So for those of you with butts of steel who can make it through 27 hours I salute you in advance.

AMC hasn't released specific details on pricing, or which locations nationwide will be hosting the marathon so keep checking back to the AMC website over the next few days for more information. Tickets for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are on sale now. The movie opens December 20th.
