Yes, That Cerulean Sweater Could Be Yours!
Ever wanted to raid Miranda Priestley’s closet? Now you might actually get the chance.
Meryl Streep is giving The Devil Wears Prada fans the ultimate fashion fantasy with an online auction of wardrobe pieces from The Devil Wears Prada 2. Hosted by Christie’s from Sept. 1–15, the auction will benefit the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
And the pieces are very Miranda-approved. The lineup includes Miranda’s Dries Van Noten tassel jacket, a feathered Bad Binch TongTong by Terrence Zhou dress worn by Lady Gaga, and — perhaps most exciting of all — Andy Sachs’ iconic cerulean sweater.

Want to see the fashion IRL before bidding? Christie’s New York will host a free public exhibition of the pieces from Sept. 8–13. There will also be an invite-only cocktail party and live charity auction on Sept. 10 during New York Fashion Week, featuring fashion pieces and film-inspired luxury experiences.
“Get your gorgeous on in time for fall and bid up big!” Streep said in a statement.

Honestly, we can already hear Miranda saying, “By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how that thrills me.”
The auction comes after The Devil Wears Prada 2 brought Streep’s Miranda, Anne Hathaway’s Andy, Emily Blunt’s Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci’s Nigel Kipling back to the big screen nearly 20 years after the original. This time, the Runway crew is navigating the changing media landscape and the decline of print publishing, with a star-studded cast that also includes Lady Gaga, Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, Rachel Bloom, and more.
