Located just steps from the San Diego Convention Center in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, Pendry San Diego is transforming into a must-visit destination for attendees looking to recharge between panels, screenings, and cosplay meetups. From one of the country's most talked-about bagel brands to Spider-Man-inspired sips and fandom-worthy sweet treats, the hotel is serving up plenty of reasons to add another stop to your Comic-Con itinerary.

Start Your Con Day With PopUp Bagels

If you've been curious about the bagel brand that's been creating buzz nationwide, Comic-Con weekend is your chance to see what all the hype is about.

From July 23 through July 26, PopUp Bagels will park its iconic Volkswagen bus right outside Pendry San Diego, serving fresh-baked bagels and the brand's beloved shmears, including plain and signature scallion varieties.

Available daily from 7 a.m. until sell-out, this grab-and-go breakfast stop is perfectly timed for early-morning Hall H line waits or marathon panel days. Given the cult following surrounding PopUp Bagels, fans may want to arrive early before supplies run out.

Swing Into Nason's Beer Hall for a Spider-Man Celebration

Spider-Manfans will want to make Pendry San Diego a regular stop throughout Comic-Con weekend.

From Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26, Nason's Beer Hall will host an exclusive activation celebrating Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Brand New Day in partnership with Tom Holland's premium non-alcoholic beer brand, BERO.

Guests can enjoy BERO served in limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day-branded cans, available exclusively during the activation, while taking advantage of immersive photo opportunities inspired by the highly anticipated film.

Even better? Fans will have the chance to meet Spider-Man himself during special appearances on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 from noon to 4 p.m., making this one of the can't-miss off-site experiences of Comic-Con weekend.

The activation is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, with complimentary BERO samples available for guests 21 and older. With excitement building for Spider-Man: Brand New Day ahead of its July 31 theatrical release, expect this downtown destination to be a popular stop for Marvel fans all weekend long.

Throughout Comic-Con weekend, Provisional will partner with San Diego favorite Donut Bar to offer character-themed donuts daily beginning at 7 a.m.

Available July 23 through 26 on the Provisional Kitchen patio, the specialty treats will be served alongside Provisional's signature pastries and savory menu items, creating an ideal morning pit stop before diving back into the convention chaos.
