Disney’s New Halloween Costumes for Mickey and Minnie Are Equal Parts Spooky and Stylish
Disney Parks
Halloween may still be months away, but Disney fans already have something to get excited about. As part of the newly announced Halloween and Fall celebrations coming to Disneyland Resort in 2026, Disney has unveiled the brand-new seasonal costumes Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be sporting throughout the festivities—and they're giving classic Halloween charm with a fashionable twist.
This year’s costume theme centers around a playful harlequin-inspired design that combines bold patterns, vintage carnival aesthetics, and plenty of Halloween spirit. The signature color palette sticks to festive orange and black, but it's the details that really make these looks stand out. Minnie’s ensemble features puffy striped sleeves, a checkered skirt, and a coordinating bow that perfectly ties the look together. According to the concept art, she’ll also be sporting mismatched tights, with one leg featuring vertical stripes and the other showcasing a diamond pattern for an extra dose of whimsical flair.

Not to be outdone, Mickey’s costume embraces the same fashion-forward theme. His look includes a diamond-patterned top hat, striped trousers, fingerless orange gloves layered over his classic white gloves, and a half-and-half vest that combines solid and diamond-patterned fabrics. Even his shoes get the mismatched treatment, creating a playful costume that feels straight out of a Halloween storybook.
Perhaps the best news for Disney style fans? Mickey and Minnie won’t be the only ones getting a seasonal makeover. Disney confirmed that their friends will also receive coordinating costumes inspired by the same harlequin aesthetic, creating a cohesive look across the character lineup this fall.

For DisneyBounders, the announcement is already sparking outfit inspiration. Between the bold patterns, orange-and-black color scheme, and vintage carnival vibes, these costumes feel tailor-made for creative park looks and Halloween-themed Disney fashion. Expect plenty of striped tights, diamond prints, statement bows, and playful accessories to start appearing on mood boards long before Halloween Time officially arrives.
Guests visiting Disneyland Park during the Halloween season will be able to meet Mickey, Minnie, and their pals in these new costumes in Town Square. If this first reveal is any indication, Disneyland's 2026 Halloween celebration is shaping up to be one of the most stylish seasons yet.
