The Her Universe Fashion Show Returns to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 With a DCU-Inspired Twist

If you’re heading to San Diego Comic-Con this summer, one of the most stylish events of the convention is officially back. The Her Universe Fashion Show returns for its 12th annual runway spectacular—this time with a super-powered theme inspired entirely by the DC Universe. The fan-favorite event will once again bring geek couture to the stage, with designers from across the country debuting bold, character-inspired looks in front of a packed crowd.
The Her Universe Fashion Show 2026 , presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products will take over the Harbor Ballroom at the Manchester Grand Hyatt on Thursday, July 23 at 6 PM, promising fashion fans another standing-room-only night of geek couture, creativity, and community. Hosted by actress, best-selling author and Her Universe founder, Ashley Eckstein, the annual event has become one of most anticipated events each year during Comic-Con weekend. Two standout designers will walk away with the ultimate prize: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to collaborate on an official fashion collection with Her Universe and a $2,000 cash prize.

Each year, emerging designers from across the country debut jaw-dropping, fandom-inspired looks on the runway. Previous years of the show celebrated a mix of fandoms —but 2026 marks a historic first. For the first time ever, every design will be inspired exclusively by characters from DC Universe. That means iconic heroes and villains—from Gotham’s shadows to Metropolis’ skies—will serve as the creative spark behind the competition’s couture creations.
“It’s time for Geek Couture to take new heights,” Eckstein said. “We are so excited to see how this year’s designers are inspired by DC. There are few franchises as popular as DC and it’s a privilege to be inspired by this vast world. We’re so ready to take our show… ‘Up, up and away!’”
