L'Ermitage Beverly Hills And Bloomingdale's Are Teaming Up To Help CLUELESS Celebrate Its 30th Birthday In Style

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 30 years since movie-going audiences were first introduced to the the endlessly quotable, always fashionable, hilariously iconic 90s rom-com, Clueless. To celebrate the milestone anniversary, Paramount Pictures is teaming up with L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, Bloomingdale’s Century City, the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and legendary costume designer, Mona May (the costume designer behind Cher’s iconic looks in the film) to create “The Clueless Suite.”

From July 12 through September 1, one of the hotel’s signature suites (750 square feet of residential-style luxury) transforms into a full-on immersive experience for Clueless superfans. Packed with nostalgic nods to the film with plenty of little Easter eggs, like the yellow plaid outfit that is featured in a wall hanging that was inspired by Cher’s first-day-of-school look, and a neon sign illuminated with one of her favorite expressions — “Carpe diem! OK?” Interior designer Jordan Hackworth pitched in with the concept to create a suite that’s perfect for pre-makeover montages, post-shopping bubble baths and everything in between!

The suite comes equipped fuzzy pens, a Polaroid camera, luxurious bedding from Bloomingdale’s, a Clueless board game — and even access to a white Jeep Wrangler convertible (just don’t forget to signal). But the main attraction is the walk-in closet complete with a Clueless-worthy wardrobe from Bloomingdale’s carefully curated by Mona May along with in-house stylists. Guests can fill out a pre-arrival style quiz to personalize their looks, and all outfits are available to shop via QR code. As a special bonus guests will get a free membership to Fitted, the official virtual Clueless closet app of the anniversary campaign.

To stay in "The Clueless Suite” visitors will need to book at least a two-night stay for $1,995 per night. This is the first time the hotel, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this fall, has created a film-inspired stay. L’Ermitage Beverly Hills general manager, Frédéric Zemmour calls it a “tribute to a story that redefined what it meant to be young, stylish and unapologetically bold in Beverly Hills”. Each stay includes a $100 Bloomingdale’s gift card, a VIP in-store styling appointment with Bloomingdales stylists and a Dior Beauty glam sesh to complete the Beverly Hills experience.

L’Ermitage guests can also opt for “The Cher’mitage Experience,” which offers special add-ons like turn-down treats inspired by the film. This package includes a Polaroid camera, movie streaming and a complimentary sunset toast at the new rooftop lounge Poza. The Cher’mitage Experience must be booked at least two days in advance of arrival and coordinated through the hotel concierge. Rates start at $995/night. It’s not a full-on Monet, but it’s still a once-in-a-lifetime chance to check into Cher’s world!

The celebration continues at Bloomingdale’s Century City on Saturday, July 26, with a public event featuring throwback DJ sets, L’Ermitage-curated bites, a vintage photo booth, and more 90s fabulousness that will be totally buggin!
