Gothic romance just got a high-jewelry upgrade. Tiffany & Co. is stepping into the world of director, Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Frankenstein, bringing its legendary sparkle to the highly anticipated film, which hits theaters on October 17 and arrives on Netflix globally November 7.

For the first time, Tiffany is uniting rare archival masterworks with contemporary high jewelry on screen—an unprecedented collaboration that taps into nearly 200 years of craftsmanship and cultural influence.

Set in the 1850s, the film draws heavily from The Tiffany Archives to bring historical authenticity to its haunting world. Among the highlights: pieces designed by Julia Munson and Meta Overbeck under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany, the House’s pioneering Art Director known for his reverence for nature and bold experimentation—qualities that mirror Mary Shelley’s original vision for Frankenstein. Many of these archival jewels have never been worn in modern times, making their on-screen debut a moment of genuine fashion history.

Alongside these storied pieces are new designs crafted in Tiffany’s New York High Jewelry workshop, as well as select contemporary creations. Together, they form a breathtaking visual language that mirrors the film’s central themes of innovation, duality, and transformation.

Frankenstein continues Tiffany & Co.’s legacy of contributing to the world of cinema—not simply as adornment, but as a storytelling layer,” said Christopher Young, Vice President & Creative Director, Tiffany Patrimony and Global Creative Visual Merchandising. For the first time, the House is uniting rare archival masterworks with contemporary high jewelry on screen—an extraordinary moment that draws on the unmatched depth of The Tiffany Archives. The collaboration not only elevates the film’s lush period aesthetic but also cements Tiffany’s nearly 200-year legacy as a cultural tastemaker.

Costume designer Kate Hawley paired bespoke organic textiles with meticulously curated Tiffany jewels, using each piece to reveal a character’s inner world. Each jewel was carefully chosen to reflect the characters’ inner lives, with custom pieces made exclusively for the film. 27 Tiffany & Co. designs—from necklaces and brooches to silver objets d’art and a pocket watch—grace the screen. Mia Goth wears nearly every jewel, while Charles Dance, as Leopold Frankenstein, carries the pocket watch.

Having Tiffany & Co. as a collaborator was an honor that was deeply moving for my entire crew. Tiffany’s jewelry became its own creative contribution—integral to the world of Elizabeth’s character and to the film’s design language,” said Kate Hawley, Costume Designer for Frankenstein.

With this glittering collaboration, Tiffany & Co. redefines what high jewelry can be on screen—melding fashion, history, and cinematic storytelling with signature precision and flair.

Frankenstein, starring Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz and directed by Guillermo del Toro, will be released in select theaters on October 17 and on Netflix globally on November 7. Keep going for the trailer for the film.
