The Walt Disney Company is getting ready to make history—literally. In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, Disney has announced “Disney Celebrates America,” a sweeping, multi-platform initiative that kicks off on Veterans Day 2025 and runs through July 4, 2026. The celebration will bring together Disney’s beloved brands and storytelling powerhouses to honor the nation’s past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.

At its core, Disney Celebrates America is about spotlighting the people, places, and stories that define the American spirit. Expect heartfelt storytelling, unforgettable experiences, and meaningful support for veterans, military families, and communities nationwide—a continuation of Disney’s century-long tradition of honoring those who serve and uplifting everyday heroes.

“At its heart, America’s story is one of imagination, ambition, and possibility – the same ideals that have guided Disney since the beginning,” said Robert A. Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company. “This celebration honors both a nation and a spirit that never stop dreaming about what’s next.”

Coast-to-Coast Magic

Both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will join in on the patriotic party, anchored by the debut of Soarin’ Across America, opening in summer 2026 at Disney California Adventure and EPCOT. This special version of the fan-favorite attraction will take guests on a breathtaking flight over the nation’s most iconic landmarks, from natural wonders to vibrant city skylines.

And of course, Disney is going all out for Independence Day weekend. The festivities will culminate in a 24-hour multi-platform broadcast, also titled Disney Celebrates America, streaming and airing across Disney’s full media family. Expect spectacular performances, star-studded appearances, and breathtaking visuals, culminating in a fireworks finale that only Disney could deliver.Fireworks, Fashion, and a Little Disney Magic

Fireworks fans are in for a treat, too. “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will light up both coasts over three nights, from July 3–5, at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom Park.

Americana Chic: Disney’s Fashion Moment

For fashion lovers and collectors, this celebration isn’t just about fireworks—it’s about statement-making style. Disney Consumer Products will debut a military-inspired capsule collection honoring America’s heroes, available for a limited time at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

Then, in May 2026, fans can expect a full Americana-inspired line featuring elevated apparel, home décor, and collectible accessories—all designed to capture the nostalgia of vintage Disney charm with a modern patriotic twist. Think varsity textures, embroidered details, soft neutrals accented with classic red, white, and blue—a wearable homage to the country’s creative spirit.

Giving Back in a Big Way

Beyond the fireworks, festivities and fashion, Disney is also deepening its commitment to those who serve. The company announced a $2.5 million donation to Blue Star Families, a nonprofit supporting military and veteran families across the U.S. It’s a continuation of a legacy that stretches back to Walt Disney himself—a storyteller who believed in celebrating the dreamers, the doers, and those who make a difference. With its mix of nostalgia, innovation, and heart, Disney Celebrates America promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime event that unites fans, families, and dreamers from coast to coast. Because if anyone knows how to tell the story of America—with fireworks, heart, and just the right touch of pixie dust—it’s Disney.
