The STAR TREK Universe Is Heading To WonderCon 2024

Star Trek fans heading to WonderCon 2024 are in for a treat. Paramount+/CBS Studios have announced their slate of programming for the annual pop culture convention which is scheduled for Friday, March 29th through Sunday, March 31st at the Anaheim Convention Center.

There are two Star Trek Universe panels beaming into the convention center over the weekend — one for Star Trek: Discovery fans, and one celebrating the already iconic musical episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

FRIDAY, MARCH 29—8:00 - 9:00 pm | STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS “Subspace Rhapsody” Sing-Along

On Friday, March 29 (8:00 - 9:00 pm, Room North 200A) the panel will feature the first ever sing-along screening of “Subspace Rhapsody,” the musical episode from Strange New Worlds‘ season 2 . After the screening ends, episode songwriters Tom Polce and Kay Hanley will be featured in a moderated Q&A, in which they will discuss the process of writing songs for Star Trek‘s first musical episode.

SATURDAY, MARCH 30—3:30 - 5:30 pm | STAR TREK: DISCOVERY — Final Season Premiere Screening

On Saturday, (3:30-5:00 pm; Room North 200A) there will be a spotlight panel for Star Trek: Discovery. This panel will feature a special screening of Discovery season 5’s premiere episode. After the screening, Michelle Paradise (Executive Producer/Showrunner) and Olatunde Osunsanmi (EP/Director) will take part in a moderated Q&A to share details about creating the final season and tease what fans can expect during the series’ final season.
