We’re just weeks away from San Diego Comic-Con 2023, and while some of the major studios are skipping this year’s show, Funko is heading back with it’s biggest booth ever. The pop culture company announced it’s plans to expand “Funkoville” (Booth 5341), a massive neighborhood-like experience for attendees on the show floor that is “double the 2022 footprint” so you know it’s going to be huge!

If you visited Funkoville during last year’s show you know it’s modeled after a small town mainstreet with different storefronts for each of the company’s brands including Funko, Funko Games, Loungefly, and Mondo. This year’s booth will be available for all registered SDCC attendees from July 19 through July 23, and will give fans plenty of new interactive experiences, photo spots, brand storefronts and more in the, ”funnest city in the USA!”

SDCC attendees will be able to wander the streets of Funkoville and explore all-new shops full of exclusive pop culture collectibles including a donut shop, a bowling alley, a Loungefly boutique and a Mondo gas station.

The company’s newest brand, Blockbuster Rewind, will also be on full display with a storefront that looks like a classic video store from the past, giving visitors the chance to lean into nostalgia while they check out the company’s first collection of new VHS-themed collectibles. So cool! .

For those lucky enough to get a ticket to this year’s “Fundays” event there will also be exclusive giveaways, along with the opportunity to meet special guests, and annoucements from Funko and it’s brands.

With the Funkoville booth being twice as big this year, we look forward to offering an even better way for fans to immerse themselves in their favorite fandoms.”
