Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice is celebrating it’s 35th anniversary this year. If you’re a fan of the classic horror comedy you’re in luck — because the movie is heading back to the big screen for one day only in Dolby Cinema. On Wednesday, October 18th moviegoers can experience the Halloween classic for the first time ever in the immersive sound of Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

If you’ve never seen Beetlejuice, it tells the story of a young couple who end up as poltergeists in their New England farmhouse after their untimely demise via drowning. When these homebody ghosts try to haunt the pretentious humans who have moved into their house they ask for help from a demonic wraith they can’t control.

The comic horror fantasy stars Michael Keaton, Academy-Award winner Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Jeffrey Jones. A sequel to the film, titled Beetlejuice 2, went into production earlier this year with Tim Burton returning to direct the original cast and new additions like Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci. Shooting was stopped due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Burton recently said the production only has a day and half left to finish.
