Star Trek: The Next Generation Cast Set To Reunite Onstage At NYCC

New York Comic-Con is just a few days away, and if you’re a Star Trek: The Next Generation fan heading to the show this year you’re in for a treat. The cast of the iconic series will be reuniting on stage for an in-person reunion during the Star Trek Universe panel on Saturday, October 8th from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. ET.

We’ve already seen original TNG cast members Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, and Marina Sirtis join Patrick Stewart during the first two seasons of Picard. As the show gets ready to enter it’s third and final season Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, and LeVar Burton are all joining the cast, making the reunion almost complete. (I see you Wil Wheaton!)

All of the actors are scheduled to make an apparance during the star-studded panel. They will be joined by Picard showrunner, Terry Matalas, as well as executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry. No word yet on how many episodes of Picard fans can expect to see these classic characters appear in during season three, but showrunner Terry Matalas has promised storylines from the original show will be resolved, and some characters will be in "unexpected" places when the show finds them.

In addition to the final bow for Picard, the Star Trek Universe panel will also feature the casts and creatives for fellow Paramount+ shows Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Prodigy. You can stream the first two seasons of Star Trek: Picard on Paramount+ now. The final season will drop on Feb. 16, 2023
