Celebrate The End Of Summer With The 2021 Malibu Barbie Pop Up Truck Tour

If you’re a Barbie girl and you’re on the west coast in August, listen up! The hot pink Barbie Pop-Up Truck is back after getting a 70’s beach-style makeover, just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Malibu Barbie.
Mattel is celebrating the anniversary its original California beach girl with a special pop-up truck tour cruising from San Diego to Seattle throughout the rest of the summer — kicking off with stops in Santa Monica on Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Santa Monica Place. If you’re in the area or want to make a special stop to check all all the groovy, limited-edition swag the truck will be parked at the intersection of 3rd and Broadway, between Tesla and Nike.
The outdoor mobile pop-up experience will sell exclusive Malibu Barbie-themed, retro-inspired apparel, accessories, and collectibles like embroidered denim jackets, caps, T-shirts, iridescent vinyl fanny packs, “cassette tape” wallets by Alex & Ani, Funboy, CHI, and Stoney Clover Lane and more!

Prices for the limited-edition gear range from $12 -$75, and the tour will also include special giveaways, instagrammable photo ops and a popsicle stand to beat the heat!
The Barbie Pop Up Truck is also scheduled to make stops in San Diego on Aug. 14, Irvine on Aug. 21, and Long Beach on Aug. 28 before making stops in cities throughout the U.S. Keep checking in with the Barbie Truck Tour website for more information on tour dates in the weeks ahead.
