Even with movie theater chains talking about re-opening, a lot of people are still spending a lot of time at home as we all continue to social distance to slow the spread of COVID-19. For those of you planning your July streaming schedule Disney+ is ready for you with a lot of new content including new episodes of some of its original series, The Muppets, more movies (including Solo: A Star Wars Story and The Mighty Ducks), and a certain award-winning Broadway musical some of you might have heard of before.

Nearly five years after making it’s Broadway debut, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton is premiering on Disney+ July 3rd. The new film is a recorded ersion of the award-winning musical and features original principal cast members including Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, and Miranda as Alexander Hamilton himself. If hip/hop musicals aren’t your thing there’s plenty more coming. Keep going for a list of all the new titles announced for July so far.
