Michael Biehn Joins Cast Of Star Wars: Mandalorian Season 2

I’ve been a Michael Biehn fan for a LONG time. A big enough fan that I’ve actually seen Dead Man Can’t Dance (in the movie theater) back in the day, so hearing he’s joined the cast of The Mandalorian Season 2 is some of the better news I’ve gotten over the past week.

Making Star Wars first reported the news (and it has since been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter and other outlets). Details on Biehn’s role are scarce. All we know so far is he will be playing a bounty hunter. Fortunately, he’s got a little experience killing robots and aliens already — starring James Cameron’s, Aliens, The Abyss, and, The Terminator.

Ok. So may that isn’t exactly the line. What?!? Don’t tell me some of you (of a certain age) haven’t inserted your own name from time-to-time too when you’ve watched The Terminator.

For those of you who aren’t as familiar with Biehn’s work as I am he’s also starred in Navy SEALs, Tombstone, The Rock, Planet Terror, and The Fan (just to name a few). The second season of The Mandalorian is scheduled to premiere in October of 2020 on Disney+.

In case you’ve been hiding under the rock the past few months The Mandalorian was created by Iron Man director, Jon Favreau. It takes place roughly five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and centers on the adventures of a bounty hunter played by Pedro Pascal and his newly unexpected charge officially known as The Child (aka Baby Yoda).

Are you excited about Michael Biehn joining Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Let me know in the comments below!
