Christmas Came Early: THE WITCHER Announces "6 Days Of Witchmas"

We’re in the final countdown to Christmas, and Netflix has a little something for all you fans of The Witcher. The show’s official Twitter account announced the “six days of Witchmas”. The thread — which you can see blow — says starting December 15, and for six consecutive days, fans of the series can expect “gifts” (in the form of “content”). The “gifts” will be given out a day after fans are given the opportunity to vote. "You may choose to accept that gift, OR you may choose to invoke the Law of Surprise."

It all sounds pretty mysterious to me, and that’s okay. If it means new content in the form of Henry Cavill footage/photos I’m all for it. Reasons. Don’t judge. Keep going for the full Twitter thread below:

The Witcher is an adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's novel series of the same name. It follows the travels of Geralt of Rivia, a genetically and mystically enhanced monster hunter who travels the Continent, slaying monsters for coin.

Production on Season 2 of the series got underway back in August. Like many other series, it had to retool to accommodate COVID safety protocols. Even with all the safety measures in place production had to pause twice after positive COVID-19 tests. What's worse, star Henry Cavill has reportedly sustained a minor leg injury--and the production is continuing without him for the moment. The fantasy drama is expected to return to Netflix sometime in 2021.
