Check Out The First Trailer For The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special Heading To Disney+

The first trailer for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special  is here and it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun! The special, which hits Disney+ on Nov. 17, takes inspiration from the infamously bad 1978 Holiday Special which aired only once on CBS. I’ve seen it, and trust me — there’s a reason it aired only once.

The special is set after The Rise of Skywalker and follows Rey on a new adventure with BB-8 to learn more about the Force. After journeying to a Jedi Temple Rey ends up in a cross-timeline adventure that drops her at some beloved moments throughout Star Wars history.

This means we get to see Rey interact with a host of fan-favorite characters, from a young Luke Skywalker and Yoda to Darth Vader, Lando (in a sweet cape), Poe Dameron (in a Christmas sweater!!!) and even The Child in all of his LEGO cuteness.

You’ll recognize voices from the cast of the franchise like Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) as well as familiar voices to fans of The Clone Wars animated series, like as Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Tom Kane as Yoda, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Dee Bradley Baker as clone troopers.

Check out the full trailer below, and tune in for the full special when it starts streaming on Disney+ on Nov. 17.
