Each year the color brand Pantone announces a new color that you’ll be seeing everywhere the next 12 months. The 2020 Color of the Year is PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue. The true-blue shade is described as “elegant in it’s simplicity”, and “suggestive of the sky at dusk” that’s said to be reflective of our “our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era".
I don’t know about the crossing “into a new era part” — but I do know that I’ve always loved classic blue.
