New Top Gun: Maverick Trailer Sends Tom Cruise Back Into The Danger Zone

I’ll be honest. When I heard they were making Top Gun 2 I rolled my eyes a little bit (or a lot) because do we really need another one? I’m old enough to remember seeing the original 1986 film in the theaters. To this day it’s one of those movies that makes me smile whenever I’m flipping the channels and I see it’s on. (And is still the best ‘commercial’ the Navy ever made, in my opinion).

Paramount Pictures dropped the second trailer for Top Gun: Maverick and as soon as I heard the music I was all in (even if it’s terrible). The trailer sees Tom Cruise reprising his role as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell as he returns to the skies to instruct a new generation of U.S. Navy fighter pilots

Paramount dropped a teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con back in July, but this trailer gives fans a better look at newcomers to the cast including: Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro and Jennifer Connelly. Keep going for the trailer.

Top Gun: Maverick is scheduled to fly into theaters on June 26, 2020.
