All Eight Trailers For This Year's 'Best Picture' Nominees

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you know the nominations for the 91st Annual Academy Awards were announced Tuesday. Current Academy rules allow anywhere between five and ten movies to receive nominations for the industry’s top prize. This year the Academy nominated eight films — one less than last year.

The nominees for the the coveted Best Picture prize are making history this year — Roma’s nomination marks the first time a Netflix original film has received a nomination for Best Picture, and Black Panther earned the first-ever Best Picture nomination for a superhero movie. The Marvel blockbuster was nominated for seven Oscars total, including Best Costume Design, Best Original Score, and Best Production Design.
