Chewie Is Challenging You To Roar For Change

It's time to clear your throats and start practicing your best Wookiee battle cry. Lucasfilm and Disney want us all to put our best Chewbacca impressions to the test, and it's all for a good cause. 

It's part of this year's Force For Change campaign. This year's "Roar For Change" invites fans of all ages to share their own version of Chewbacca’s iconic roar on social media using #RoarForChange. For each public post, like, or share on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter between May 3 – 25, 2018, Force for Change will donate $1 to UNICEF, up to $1 million. The money will be used to support UNICEF’s lifesaving work for children around the world.

Don't worry if your Shyriiwook is a little rusty, you can also don a Chewbacca mask or use  a special sound now available in Dubsmash which will be hosted on the app’s homepage for the duration of the campaign. to make your video. Additionally, fans who post their on social media in Disney store locations across the country from May 4th will receive 10% off a Star Wars purchase.
