Her Universe Princess Leia Bespin Dress Is Here!

Image | Her Universe

This is not a drill. The Princess Leia Bespin dress Her Universe teased us all with last year at Celebration Orlando and D23 is here! It's inspired by the dress Leia was given to wear on Cloud City in The Empire Strikes Back. That has always been one of my favorite, "Leia outfits" and I've rarely seen it in officially-licensed apparel. So let's just say I've been waiting for someone to do a Cloud City-inspired dress for awhile.

Temporarily taking a break from being a princess, senator, and rebel leader, Leia finally got to wear a more relaxed civilian outfit while seeking refuge in Cloud City during The Empire Strikes Back. This gorgeous paneled dress takes its inspiration from Leia’s Bespin outfit. The lavender and maroon dress features a rounded collar with a neck tie, long cuffed sleeves, and full embroidery. The colored panels mimic Leia’s tunic/vest combination and give way to a full skirt that stops just above the knee.

The dress retails for $79.90 on the Her Universe site and is available in sizes XS to 3X, and plus sizes 0 to 6. Unfortunately, licensing restrictions prevent Her Universe from shipping outside the U.S. and Canada, but it looks like the dress is also available at Shop Disney which ships internationally.

The Disney Store carries the dress in sizes XS to XL. The price point is $89.95, which is a little higher than if you get the dress directly from Her Universe. But it's still a good option for any international fans who want to get their hands on this dress.
